WhatsApp is currently testing group voice and video calls that support up to eight people rather than only four. You can try this feature out right now, in fact.




WhatsApp’s tweak doesn’t require you to adjust your app settings, but you do have to make one big change: You’ll need to enroll in the WhatsApp beta for Android or iOS if you want the chance to double the number of people you can talk to in a group call.




You get the feature as part of the beta, you’ll have to convince your friends to sign up for the beta, too. As I understand it, everyone has to be in the WhatsApp beta in order to participate in an eight-person voice or video call. Otherwise, you’re going to be stuck with the four friends limit until such a time as WhatsApp rolls out the feature in the stable version of its app.




With those details out of the way, here’s how to get started.

Now attempt to launch a call. You’ll hopefully see text alerting you to the fact that you can have a group call with “up to 5 participants.” if you see in the screenshot same like i did.

India Tells Banks to Migrate ATMs From Windows XP.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has notified all local financial institutions to exchange the operating system of the ATMs that still run Windows XP. They will be subject to regulatory sanctions if they do not meet the deadline – by June 2019. The Bleeping Computer obtained a copy of the notification sent by the RBI. Banks will have to implement some security measures before replacing Windows XP with another newer system. In the first phase, which lasts until August 2018, banks should implement password in the BIOS of ATMs; disable USB ports; apply the latest security patches, and limit the access time of administrators. In the second phase, which runs until March 2019, institutions will have to take steps to prevent card cloning and will apply whitelisting to release critical access only to certain users. Facebook new feature now create your Own Avatars.

A competition to Bitmoji, the feature will enable users to create a cartoon-like version of themselves by choosing from a variety of face cuts, hairstyle, and outfit options. You can use an Avatar in Facebook comments, stories, profile picture, and Messenger chat windows. These Avatars can also be shared on WhatsApp chats. Here‘s how you can create your own Image:   The Avatar creator can be accessed from Bookmarks in Facebook app, as well as from the comment composer.
