Jaipur-based tech startup has launched an app that is aimed at helping users delete Chinese apps from their smartphones.
OneTouch AppLabs has launched an app called “Remove China Apps” on the Google Play Store that aims to rid your smartphone of all Chinese apps. The app that weighs just 3.8MBs has been downloaded over 1 million times so far and it claims to provide users an easy way to detect and then delete apps that belong to companies from China.
This tool lists all Chinese apps.You can easily remove selected apps. Chinese apps are not secure you can scan and select Chinese apps that you want to uninstall, and click 'Delete' button to uninstall them,” the app says in its Play Store description.
All users need to do is scan all apps on their smartphone and then delete apps individually by tapping on the bin icon that appears right next to the name of the app in the scanned list of mobile applications.
It is worth noting that while the app is gaining popularity on the Google Play Store, it is also gaining fame on Twitter.

India Tells Banks to Migrate ATMs From Windows XP.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has notified all local financial institutions to exchange the operating system of the ATMs that still run Windows XP. They will be subject to regulatory sanctions if they do not meet the deadline – by June 2019. The Bleeping Computer obtained a copy of the notification sent by the RBI. Banks will have to implement some security measures before replacing Windows XP with another newer system. In the first phase, which lasts until August 2018, banks should implement password in the BIOS of ATMs; disable USB ports; apply the latest security patches, and limit the access time of administrators. In the second phase, which runs until March 2019, institutions will have to take steps to prevent card cloning and will apply whitelisting to release critical access only to certain users. Google releases Android 11 Developer Preview 3.--New Modern Tech Media

Google has begun rolling out the third release of the Android 11 Developer Preview to several Pixel devices. Unfortunately, we don’t recommend anyone flash a Developer Preview build to your Pixel if it is currently your primary device, as it perhaps may not be stable enough.
